Hot Check Division
The Hot Check Division prosecutes persons who write delinquent checks
throughout Benton County and recovers restitution for area merchants. The Office
has disbursed over $2,000,000 to area businesses in the past five years.
This service is provided free of charge to area businesses and merchants may
also recover a merchant fee from hot check writers.

The Hot Check Division is located in the Office of Prosecuting Attorney
Annex Building at 111 South Main in downtown Bentonville. The

Driving Directions:
From Interstate 540: Take Exit 88, Bentonville - State Highway 72. Turn west
on Highway 72 - Central Avenue for 2 miles to Bentonville Square. Turn
left on Main Street. Annex is located at 111 South Main on the left (east
side of Main Street).
