The Prosecuting Attorney is responsible for all criminal prosecution of state crimes in Benton County and represents Benton County and the Quorum Court on all civil matters.

Several thousand cases are prosecuted annually in Benton County Circuit Court and various District Courts.

The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is comprised of fifteen attorneys working in five divisions:

felony, juvenile, municipal and the Office of the County Attorney

In addition, the office also has several specialized divisions to assist the public including:

Drug Crimes, Hot Checks, Child Abuse,  Victims' Advocates, and Domestic Violence.
