The Child Abuse Prosecution division within the Prosecutor’s Office focuses exclusively on the preparation
and prosecution of felony crimes of child sexual abuse and physical child abuse.
Child Abuse Prosecutor
Stephanie McLemore works hand in
hand with law enforcement, doctors and other child protection professionals at the Benton
County Children’s Advocacy Center. The Children’s Advocacy Center in Little Flock offers a
child-friendly environment to conduct forensic interviews, medical examinations and other
necessary procedures when child victims are confronted with the criminal justice
system. The Child Abuse Prosecution
division has had tremendous success in the prosecution of child abuse offenders
since implementation in January, 2001.
