Step 2: Prepare your department-appropriate application:      (Applications in Adobe Acrobat PDF format)

• Sheriff's Office (including county jail): completed Sheriff's Office job application form, a recent photo copy of your birth certificate, a copy of your high school diploma or GED,  a copy of your military discharge form DD-214 (if applicable), and the notarized "Authorization to Release Information and Affidavit" page (found on the application form), and a photo.  The photo to be attached to the application can be just a snapshot (versus professionally done) must be color, head-and-shoulders and be ONLY of the applicant

• Assessor's Office: completed Assessor's Office job application form, resume, and cover letter

• Central Communications: completed Central Communications job application form

• All other areas: completed General Benton County job application form, resume, and cover letter
